AI & Data Processing
How AI is involved
Clafk uses selected third-party AI providers to support AI-assisted product functionality, including classification, drafting assistance, language handling and retrieval.
AI providers
Both are engaged as subprocessors for Large Language Model processing.
AI providers act only as technical subprocessors for the purpose of providing Clafk functionality. They do not determine the purposes or means of the processing. AI processing is performed through Clafk’s protected backend systems. Each provider’s full entry is on the Subprocessors page.
Detailed provider handling is listed on the Subprocessors page.
What data may be processed
Only what the requested operation requires.
Limited customer data required for the requested AI-assisted operation may be processed by Clafk’s AI subprocessors. Where the knowledge base is in use, that may include the customer-uploaded content relevant to the draft being prepared.
What Clafk does not send
Clafk sends only the limited customer data needed for the requested AI-assisted operation.
Only the limited customer data required for the requested AI-assisted operation is sent to AI providers. Complete inbound email bodies are not sent to AI providers. Attachments are not retrieved and therefore do not reach AI providers.
Customer data is not used to train the models of Clafk’s LLM providers.
Processing by each provider is governed by that provider’s own published terms and by Clafk’s agreements with it.
Review before sending
The user reviews drafts before sending.
Clafk prepares drafts for the user to review. Drafts are saved to the connected mailbox, remain under the customer’s control, and Clafk does not send them automatically. Clafk does not delete customer email on the user’s behalf.
